I am standing in a park by a beach on Maui
Tossing a frisbee back and forth with my son.
I gently gather all the words in Why Do I Write
and place them on the frisbee.

As my upper body turns my arm fully extends out
Releasing the disc and its precious cargo.
Carried by the wind, the words sparkle in the sunlight,
Drifting until caught by some kindred spirit.

Blogging is like tossing this frisbee.
