Thanks Nitya.
I like the angles of the rocks in the second picture. Like they were thrown there by a wandering giant.
🙂 That’s kind of how I see them too. Thanks for sharing.
A magical place!
Yes, one that keeps calling out to me.
Amazing captures Arati.
Thank you Rupali. I’m glad you enjoyed them.
Very serene images, I like them a lot. I do prefer them in full color 🙂
Thank you for stopping by and sharing how you experience these images. I did hesitate in placing the black & white images with the ones in color. They have such a different feel. I tend to find the color ones more inviting, like I want to step into the image, whereas I have more of a sense of witnessing with the black & white ones.
I liked that you chose to include both in the post, they are quite different and I always find it interesting to see different interpretations of one scene.
I enjoy seeing this too. I learn a lot from seeing the different interpretations. Thank you for sharing.
Another series of beautiful images – my favourite is the first one, with the rocks fading in the mist!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Morning fog on the California coast does create wonderful effects. I’m glad you liked this one.
Beautiful photos! I love the last one with the canoe in the middle of the rocks!
It was fun watching the kayak come into the frame of the photo and progress between the rocks. I’m glad you like this one.
Seeing the human in the kayak really gives one a new perspective of how huge these rock formations are. Must have been an amazing experience to stand in front of them.
Yes it was. They have such a strong presence. The way they are positioned, the angles and perspective always gives me the impression they were placed there intentionally….. It’s a great place to meditate!
