        Thanks Curt. Something about walking along paths at night, even when they are well lit, making sure to stay in the light… I always feel more vigilant, alert, careful. A protective habit.

          Yeah…. the tiger thing 🙂 And I also think that this sense of being more vigilant and protective, wanting to be safe is a common experience for women walking at night, especially when alone.
