🙂 Yeah, definitely awesome. I had a sense, but wasn’t exactly sure of where the moon was going to rise above the mountains. I set up the tripod and pointed my camera in the general eastern direction. It seemed like suddenly, just to my right, out of the corner of my eye, the color of the sky in this one area started becoming lighter and redder. At first it was barely noticeable, I wasn’t sure what I was seeing, and then there was this little sliver of bright orange/red coming up over the mountain, and it was the moon! She was soooooo big! It was like being on another planet somewhere in space. And then it was just about clicking, and hoping that somehow the awesomeness of the moment would register on that little card in my camera!
