Beautiful Eucalyptus. Wish I could smell them.

Glad you liked the image and I get how you enjoy the scent of eucalyptus. These trees however are not eucalyptus and I have no idea what they are. If they have a scent it is so faint that it escapes me 🙂 I do love their sculptural looks!
Beautifully framed. 😊
Thanks Irene, glad you liked it.
Yes, perfectly composed.
Thanks Sandy. I appreciated and got inspiration from the Lens-Artists challenge a couple of weeks ago on ‘cropping’. It’s as if this gave me ‘permission’ to play with cropping, redefining the image, to come closer to conveying what its essence is to me.
Yes, cropping is an essential tool indeed!
I am always intrigued by the role that clouds play in helping define a photo. Good job, Arati. –Curt
Thanks Curt. And I get the part about how clouds help define a photo. In some way I think clouds ‘confine’ the subject and ‘ground’ it, give it a context, so different from the feeling created by a limitless sky.
My thoughts as well, Arati. And that isn’t saying a bright blue sky doesn’t enhance some photos.
Brilliant photography! Monochromatics have their own charm. Thanks.
