Such an impressive set of photos, that is one tall tree. That foliage looks very familiar to me. N

thanks Nitya, and that is one very tall tree!

GREAT tree shots. Love that first one, looking straight up. Well done.
-
Thank you John.

I agree with John, that first image looking straight up is wonderful! Eucalyptus is a tree we simply do not have here. Do you have koalas there as well?
-
Thanks Tina, unfortunately there are no koalas in California, I wish there were. The eucalyptus trees are not native here, they were imported.from Australia.
-
And here I thought you WERE in Australia! Oops 🙂
-
🙂 Yeah, well with all the eucalyptus trees and dryness in California that would make perfect sense!

Stunning shots of this magnificent tree, Arati! Thank you for this special walk through the Eucalyptus tree.
-
Thank you Amy, I’m glad you enjoyed this walk.
Such unusual and wonderful trees!
-
Yes, they are.
Amazing trees! So tall! So strong!
-
Yes!
Gorgeous! 😁
I remember my first trip to a eucalyptus grove as a small boy, Arati. My grandparents were living in Watsonville at the time and had a grove growing next to their home. I was fascinated with the trees and would disappear into the forest and play until my parents called me for dinner. They are such wonderfully messy trees. –Curt

Yes they are wonderfully messy, Curt, thanks for sharing your memories.
Wow! Great perspective here, Arati. I love it. The eucalyptus trees are beautiful and so striking.
-
Thank you Patti, glad you liked them.
Your photo walk gave me a wonderful, textural view of the many sides of this majestic tree. Beautiful to see that towering height in the first image. <3

Thanks Olga, I’m so glad you enjoyed the different views of these eucalyptus. The height of the first one is indeed impressive. I’m glad I was able to convey this feeling in the photo.
